How to hide the Recent Apps on the left and hide the Dock on the bottom when using Stage Manager on iPadOS 16.

Go to Control Center and long-press the Stage Manager icon:

Turn off the two toggles, the one on the left for Recent Apps and the one on the bottom for the Dock:

Stage Manger on iPadOS requiring a M1 to operate caused a lot of people to wonder why that was so. Apples DTK with a A12Z could run a beta of Big Sur, but the 4th gen of iPad Pro with a A12Z can’t run Stage Manager because Apple claims it “requires large internal memory, incredibly fast storage, and flexible external display I/O, all of which are delivered by iPads with the M1 chip."

Funny how much processing is necessary for iPadOS to provide some way of graphic based multitasking to mimic MacOS? But a older ARM based Mac Mini achieved that 2 years ago?
