Apple Releases Updated Firmware for Beats Fit Pro

Apple today released a new 4E64 firmware update for the Beats Fit Pro headphones that came out last November, updating the earbuds from the prior 4B65 firmware that came out at the end of November.

beats fit pro feature
Apple does not offer information on what's included in refreshed firmware updates for the Beats Fit Pro, so we don't know what improvements or bug fixes the firmware brings.

There's no standard way to upgrade the ‌Beats‌‌ software, but firmware is generally installed over-the-air while the earbuds are connected to an iOS device. Putting the Beats Fit Pro‌‌‌‌‌ in the case, connecting them to a power source, and then pairing them‌‌‌‌‌ to an iPhone or an iPad should force the update after a short period of time.

Beats Fit Pro are some of Apple's newest Beats earbuds, featuring flexible wingtips to keep them in the ear, a charging case, silicone tips, Active Noise Cancellation, spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, and an H1 chip for "Hey Siri" support.

If we find notable changes after the firmware update is installed, we'll share details, but the software likely includes performance improvements and bug fixes rather than outward-facing changes.

Maybe I'm a minority, but I wouldn't use a Beats product if they were given to me. Right on craigslist they'd go.
Minority for a reason - Beats Fit Pro are the best earpods on the market bar none if you're into any sort of sport, and definitely top the league for any other use.

FWIW I felt EXACTLY the same as you! However, I bought them because they are a great fit for me, and it turns out to be one of my best buying decisions because they are brilliant. The grey is a much more subtle colour than the other colours in terms of screaming the brand.

I'll thinking about going to these from the AirPod Pros. The APPs simply don't stay sealed in my ears even with the slightest movements. I've got these after-market silicone "wings" that help a lot, but I have to remove them (and not lose them) to use the charger case. Grrrr.
I bought the AirPods Pro twice and even top aftermarket buds. both times had to return. Ear pain and fall out during running. Got the AirPods 3 and those constantly fall out and mine fell into toilet and flushed down. Got Beats Fit Pro and am blown away. the more times I wear them, the less I feel it in ear. Great audio bass quality. Seals in wont fall out. I love the hidden button on each side.

I have both, and for me APPs are excellent. These BFPs are just a bit more functional. Maybe they sound x% better but not by much. The physical buttons and rock solid fit is worth it for me (I do a lot of cycling and HIIT workouts).

Honestly though, it’s kinda nice not having the obvious Apple stems hanging out your ears sometimes. Some days I think that’s cool, some days I’m not so keen.
For me, if I'm watching a movie and chew a bite of popcorn, the APP's just about fall out of my ears. ?

FWIW, I just recently got the older PowerBeats Pros (earhook style). The way they stay put and don't move is straight up incredible... after years of rocking $30 Amazon chinese no-names, holy crap night and day... they sound way better as well, obviously. I wish I bought them years ago. I'm curious to try the new Fits, but I am accustomed to the earhooks so I stuck with that.
I have personally found the inner-"hooks" on the Beats Fit Pro to be superior on every level. And I looooved my PowerBeats Pro. Having zero interaction with glasses/sunglasses is very nice. They hold in place without ANY issue. They are totally comfortable. I am soooo happy with them. :) My first earbuds with ANC. Ho-lee-shyte.
