Colors available at this price include Space Gray, Sky Blue, and Green. Discounts this low have been extremely rare on the fourth gen iPad Air, and the new deal is beating the previous sale by about $40.

Apple wants us to believe that the new iPad Air 5 gen spanks Air 4. I'm really not seeing much difference performance wise. I think iPadOS is hampering the device and would love to see it blur the lines between itself and macOS.
I guess you didn't read the story ('https://www.macrumors.com/2022/03/14/m1-ipad-air-benchmarks/') after this one? You know, the one where actual benchmarks say the iPad Air 5 is up to 70% faster than the iPad Air 4? If you can't "see" 70% faster performance, you're doing it wrong. ;)

True, I hadn't read the other article before posting. But answer me this: Will that 70% faster performance really amount to more than just apps opening and executing a couple of seconds quicker? ;)

what about real world usage? tests done in the lab but when you hold it in your hand it doesn't feel any faster.
