It's good acting, but unnecessarily slow and boring. It starts strong and goes through a stretch of what feels like 5 episodes of nothing happening. Hopefully season 2 does a better job with pacing.
Come on now. Nothing happening? Haven’t you noticed it’s a horror show about cooking? Or a cooking show about horror?

Of course anyone who has ever eaten my cooking can understand how the two can go together. ?

This show has me captured, I mean the cinematography is wow!
Story is intriguing to say the least, and I sincerely hope that M. Night sticks the landing with the plot ahead, but so far I like what I'm seeing. :D
