I'm with you there, I try to purchase my music when it's something I want to be sure to keep, and always have access to a local copy. I'm that way with Movies and TV as well. I use the streaming services, but I still prefer physical copies.

In my case, when it comes to streaming music services: Amazon Music is my primary, Apple is secondary. For Local I have CDs, but have also added my music to Plex Media Server for local compatibility for streaming to non apple devices.

I'm just sorry I never learned about SuperAudio CDs when they were current. I like the idea of 5.1 Music.
I tried Apple Music and Spotify and just kept enjoying the same old songs. So I cancelled my subscription and synced my iPhone again with iTunes. If I want to listen to something new I just use Free Spotify.
