Designed for the fourth and fifth-generation Apple TV models, the tvOS 13.4 developer beta can be downloaded onto the ‌Apple TV‌ using a profile that's installed using Xcode.

tvOS updates are typically minor in scale, focusing on under-the-hood bug fixes and improvements rather than major outward-facing changes.

The tvOS 13.4 update introduces small design changes to streamline the look of the TV app interface, plus it introduces Family Sharing integration so users can access iTunes content purchased by family members without having to leave the app.

Please fix the abomination that is the Apple TV app.

Library tab doesn’t load with large number of purchases—way to punish your best customers—the endless bugs, and Watch Now is riddled with ads.

And not even smart ads. It’s pathetic that I get pushed to buy content I already own and have watched—especially when it’s a whole row dedicated to that show or movie. I don’t need endless ads for Apple TV when I’ve already subscribed, and I don’t need to see endless channels that I have no interest in. The visual weighting is for things to buy, not content for me to watch. This is not wrong, and it fundamentally does not work. I’m not going to buy content I am not interested in, so stop littering up my interface. Give me the ability to hide this crap, or even better, create a discover tab for things I haven’t purchased. Keep Watch Now to things I care about and own or have streaming rights to.

Honestly, this is the tacky junk PC manufacturers and Microsoft did for decades—loading crapware on the desktop. Now Apple is doing it with the TV app. It needs to stop, again, because you’re punishing your best customers with this nonsense.
