Apple today seeded the third beta of an upcoming watchOS 6.1.2 update to developers, one week after releasing the second beta and more than a month after releasing the watchOS 6.1.1 update with bug fixes.

Once the proper configuration profile has been installed from the Apple Developer Center, the new watchOS beta can be downloaded through the dedicated ‌‌Apple Watch‌‌ app on the iPhone by going to General > Software Update.

To install the update, the ‌‌Apple Watch‌‌ needs to have at least 50 percent battery, it must be placed on the charger, and it has to be in range of the ‌‌iPhone‌‌.

There's no word yet on what features are included in the watchOS 6.1.2 beta, and there were no new features discovered in the first two betas, but we'll update this article should anything new be found in the third beta.

Not a chance. You're implying that a few people have "special" Watches, or, most have defective. Especially with your claim that you are a fairly heavy user.

Excellent update, had it installed for several hours now and my S3 is still sitting at 100%. My wife installed on her S1 at the same time and hers is still at 98%. Battery life looking great as usual.
You can't hardly judge battery life in less than 3 hours.

I've posted these results before, even before this update I could consistently get 3.5 to 4 days out of my S3 without charging and my wife could get 3 days out of her S1. I don't expect to get anymore than 4 days, maybe if I was extremely inactive I could get more than 4 but I stay very active and I use my watch a lot and do all the normal things with it.
No way. Not possible to get 3 to 4 days use on one charge. Kind of strange you are the only one. Unless, you aren't being honest. And, you're just estimating how long you could go IF you didn't charge it. The key word being...if.

Sure you can, it's been consistent enough that you can, its just after 8am here and my S3 is at 83% and my wife's S1 is at 76%. Hasn't been quite 24 hours since we both installed.
