Apple recently started offering Anker's PowerCore Fusion Power Delivery Battery and Charger, marking the first time that Apple retail stores have sold Anker products.

The new $99.95 battery and charger from Anker is available from the online Apple Store and will be in Apple retail locations at the end of the week.

The PowerCore Fusion is designed to serve as both a power adapter and a battery pack for the iPhone, iPad, and MacBooks. There's a 30W USB-C charger for charging an iPad Pro or a MacBook with a standard USB-C cable, or fast charging an ‌iPhone‌ with a USB-C to Lightning cable.

There's also a 12W USB-A port that can be used to charge iPhones, iPads, and other accessories with traditional USB-A cables.

A plug at the back of the PowerCore Fusion lets it plug into the wall like any traditional power adapter, but there's also an included 5,000mAh battery so it can be used to provide additional power for your ‌iPhone‌ when you're on the go.

According to Apple, the PowerCore Fusion's 5000mAh battery adds approximately 23 extra hours of battery life to the ‌iPhone‌. When used in battery mode, the plug on the PowerCore Fusion collapses down so its similar in size to a standard USB-C power brick.

You can get the PowerCore Fusion in either black or white, and both versions have Anker's standard battery level ring on the front. If you press it, you'll see LED dots corresponding to the available charge level.

Anker sells other PowerCore Fusion devices on Amazon, but the version Apple is offering is the company's only model that has a USB-C port.

Anker's PowerCore Fusion Power Delivery Battery and Charger is available today from the Apple online store with orders set to start delivering on Friday.

Look closely at their chargers on amazon, lots of reviews state either chargers break after 2 months or break the devices plugged into their chargers.
Until they put their chargers through proper safety certification, they are just another Chinese brand.
Do you just read about Anker products or do you use them? I've used Anker for many years -- since they were first on the scene. We probably have 10-15 (or more) products in our house between portable chargers, wireless chargers and other power products. Not only have they all worked flawlessly since we've owned them, we had one issue with a purchase on Amazon and we heard from them in less than 24 hours and they immediately shipped a replacement only to find out it was our error. Anker is a quality product and just as important, has quality service.

Agreed, this is a little surprising. Even my parents know about Anker on Amazon. The statement that MOST reviews are negative is also incorrect. Anker is one of the highest reviewed 3rd party companies on Amazon. Their customer service is amazing. Their products are also amazing. I've owned their batteries, chargers, and cables for the last 3-4 years. Definitely high end products that last a long time. All the chargers and cables at work, in my house, and in my car are Anker. Huge fan of their powerline+ cables.

The few chargers I have that are Anker are UL Certified (just checked). I haven't gone out and purchased EVERY single one... but I do own a *lot* of Anker products.

Does it lack UL certification just like most of their chargers on amazon?
It almost surely has UL certification. Anker is one of the most reputable providers of third-party power adapters and cables. I prefer them to Apple products, actually.

Anker is a pretty major brand, and Apple isn't going to have non UL certified chargers on their site. For the price, Anker stuff is generally OK. I have a battery pack, a bunch of cables, a few chargers, and even some bluetooth earbuds when I want do yard work or wood working.
