Apple Highlights Apple Pay Cash in New YouTube Videos

Apple today uploaded several new videos to its YouTube channel, each one designed to show off the Apple Pay Cash feature available on iOS devices.

Each 15 second video demonstrates the process of requesting and spending money using ‌Apple Pay‌ Cash in the Messages app, and then using the ‌Apple Pay‌ Cash card in Wallet to make purchases.

This isn't the first time that Apple has highlighted ‌Apple Pay‌ Cash, which was first introduced in iOS 11.2. The feature lets iPhone and iPad users send peer-to-peer ‌Apple Pay‌ payments to one another using the Messages app.

Money received via ‌Apple Pay‌ Cash can be used for ‌Apple Pay‌ payments or deposited in a bank account, similar to other mobile peer-to-peer payment services like Venmo.

‌Apple Pay‌ Cash is limited to the United States at this time, but the feature has been popping up for users in countries like Canada and Australia, suggesting Apple is working on expanding it.

How about Apple release this outside the US before throwing money and effort into advertising it?

They forgot the part where you have to constantly try to get FaceID to work, and once you do, you have wave your iPhone all over the device to see if it works, then the cashier saying "I don't know if we take Apple Pay", or "it works when it wants to"
FaceID is flawless. Go to Apple for troubleshooting or set it up again if you have to "constantly try" to get it to work. Makes no sense.

Also, not sure where you are shopping, but enormous chains like CVS, Walgreens, Whole Foods, etc take it and it's easier than a credit card, by far. No "waving" required. Works instantly.

Again, I cannot fathom why they don't throw some Apple Watch versions of those videos in there. It's by far one of the most convenient features of Apple Watch, and somehow they neglect to highlight it. It's literally removing one step that using a regular card / iPhone vs Apple Watch: Pulling out your wallet/iPhone.

The watch is already on your wrist, ready to go at any moment.

ApplePay Cash is showing for me in Canada:

However, the setup displays US information such as a ZIP code US financial regulations.

My regional settings are set to Canada. I'm not running a beta. Either this is a mistake or a bug or ApplePay Cash is coming to Canada shortly.
