I find those straps naff.

Taste is a funny thing. Steve Jobs had it. Microsoft don't. Neither does Tim Cook.

If Apple brought out a hybrid mechanical round watch with a digital overlay, I might be interested.
Taste is also subjective.

So this is what qualifies as "innovation" under the "leadership" of Tim Cook...

Pathetic.

With luxury watches, you pay for exclusivity. But exclusivity is measured with craftsmanship -- the movement, the finish, the dial, etc.

What's exclusive about this watch? The band? It's the same watch face with a slightly different digital display. The components are the same and I suspect production cost is as well.

There's certainly a price premium, I just don't see the exclusivity that price premium is supposed to represent.

This whole watch thing makes less and less sense as an Apple product with every passing day. Tim Cook's tenure continues to make Apple's lineup less and less appealing.

I don't think I've ever seen Apple's Macbook Pro line so long in the tooth. The obsession with the watch is driving every other product line into the ground. Bicker with me all you want, I won't hear it. Ridiculous.

Apple used to inspire minds, people would buy their products to use them as their primary tools. Now all we've got is these offerings like the watch, and the only people buying it want to look "cool", where the product itself is mostly useless.

Where have all my top of the line tools gone?
Overpriced, over-polished, specialized metal pieces with sapphire screens. Mindless materialism.

Prove me wrong, and do it soon, Tim.
