get a new computer.
Sound reasonable, let find out what a base system would cost.

Just finished shopping on the Apple Store. To purchase an equivalent Mac Pro system that matches what I have now with speed, memory, disk and display it would only cost me $6015.95!
All so I can run iOS 9? Unacceptable!
I do not want to buy a lesser system like a Mac mini 1.4 because I'm concerned they will do the same thing to me as my G5, Mac Pro, iMac where they say they are no longer releasing an operating system.
I need to seriously look at moving to Windows 10 on my existing 64 bit system.

One thing I don't like, and one I do, now that I've used it.

Don't like the new status bar. There is no space at the bottom that is a status bar, it just appears superimposed on the bottom of your page, when there is something to show, so it is appearing and disappearing, and covering up part of the page content when it does. Very distracting and annoying.

Do like:
I have bookmarks (for this forum, for example), where I have the five or so forums I read regularly all bookmarked and in a separate folder in bookmarks. For a folder like that, there is always the option to "Open in New Tabs", and that will open all five forums at once, each in its own tab. It is how I like to browse a forum like this that I read regularly. In the old Safari, when you did that, it wiped out any existing tabs you may have had open. Bad. The new version keeps the already-open tabs, and adds the new ones to the tab bar. Good.
