Apple today updated its iOS App Store with a new "Amazing Fantasy Games" section, discounting a wide selection of popular iOS games in the fantasy genre by 50 percent or more. Most of the 16 games universal, and all are available on both iPhone and iPad. The games range from puzzle games to platformers to full RPGs.

Which one of these should I check out? I have BADLAND already.
I highly recommend Limbo; the gameplay is fairly simple but the atmosphere and puzzle aspects are incredible. Oh, it also features some of the least fiddly touch controls I've used.

What kind of games do you like? puzzle? platform? a mix? A lot of these are pretty great.

Radiation Island is a fun exploration/puzzle/survival adventure game, kinda sorta in the Myst vein. Terraria's a Minecraft-style game that's got a lot of content and will keep you busy for awhile. LIMBO's a great puzzle game that's very visually appealing. Oceanhorn's a Zelda-style game that's definitely worth getting. If you like tower defense, get Block Fortress. For Match-3 RPG, Hero Emblems.

As others have suggested: LIMBO. Especially if you like Badlands, you should sink right in.

I picked up a few of these games, Limbo being one of them. Several of the game has some nasty looking in-game purchases.

Ditto. Limbo is one of the few games I've bought and it definitely kept me coming back to play it again. I admit though I had to use google for some help on parts!
