From the press release: "RealNetworks also announced that its RealServer 8 now supports the delivery of Apples QuickTime-based content to Apples QuickTime players and is immediately available for download at http://www.realnetworks.com/products/servers/server8.html."
It seems RealNetworks is trying to be the one-stop-solution for streaming media. In March, Real Networks licensced Microsoft's Windows Media.
