How did Argentina, Canada reach the semifinals in 2024 Copa America?
Argentina cruised to clinching the top spot in Group A, winning all three games and outscoring opponents 5-0 during group stage action.
They would go on to defeat Ecuador 4-2 on penalties in the quarterfinals despite allowing the game-tying goal in the 91st minute.
Canada finished runner up in Group A, picking up one of each result (one win, one loss and a draw).
In the quarters, Canada took down Venezuela 4-3 on penalties to set up the rematch versus Messi and Argentina.
