EAST RUTHERFORD - The New York Giants are reporting for training camp Tuesday with the rookies having already done so one week earlier. There will be faces old and new playing critical roles with Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll hoping to build a sustained winner as they both enter their third season with Big Blue.

But where does the roster stand in terms of talent, and maybe more importantly, where do the players fit in among the Giants as they look to take a significant step forward after winning just six games in Daboll's second season as head coach?

We’re counting down the 12 players most important to the Giants’ success in 2024. This is not necessarily a ranking of the best players on the team, but those in position to be the most impactful this season when the Giants open the regular season - the 100th in the franchise's history - on Sunday, Sept. 8 at MetLife Stadium against the Minnesota Vikings.
