Crumbl Cookies to open second Westchester location
Crumbl Cookies is opening its second Westchester location in Yorktown Heights.
The soft opening is June 6 with the grand opening June 7. Justin Cinnamon, who owns the new dessert haven with his brother Scott, said he used to live in White Plains (he's now in Connecticut), always loved Westchester and thought there was room for "a wonderful cookie spot" in the northern part of the county.
Crumbl, which is part of a franchise, opened its first Westchester location last March in Hartsdale.
Like all Crumbl spots, it's built with an open kitchen so customers can see the pouring, mixing, measuring, molding, icing and baking in action. Its also known for its oversized cookies which are dense, packed with flavor, and ultra crumbly.
Summer bucket list:What to do this season in the Lower Hudson Valley
A part of its success — and what's made it one of the fastest growing franchises in the country — is due to its social media savvy and rotating menu, which changes weekly. That means what you see tomorrow will not be there next week (so order two of each and freeze one just in case). New menu drops at 8 p.m. on Sundays.
Opening week flavors include mint chocolate chip, coconut cream pie, chocolate milkshake, brookie, pink doughnut and cinnamon roll.
