MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins have locked up one of their key offensive playmakers for the next three seasons.
The Dolphins and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle reached an agreement Thursday on a three-year, $84.75 million contract extension that includes $76 million guaranteed, according to multiple sources.

Waddle is now under contract with Miami over the next five seasons and his new deal makes him one of the league’s top five highest-paid wide receivers.
WME Football negotiated and confirmed the deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Waddle recorded his third consecutive 1,000-yard receiving season in 2023, which set a Dolphins franchise record.
He also holds the Dolphins record for the most receiving yards in the first three years of a career, and set Dolphins rookie records for receptions 104, which was broken last year by Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nakua (105).
Waddle has caught 251 passes for 3,385 yards and 18 touchdowns in his three-year career.
Waddle has a special connection with Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa after the QB-WR duo played together as college teammates at Alabama and for the last three seasons after both being drafted to Miami.
Waddle and Tyreek Hill will now look to once again hit the record books in 2024 and bring a championship to South Florida.
