Miami Hurricanes quarterback Tyler Van Dyke is looking forward to the opportunity to play in a tough environment on Saturday.

The Canes will play on the road, in primetime, against Texas A&M.
It’s a battle of two top 25 teams. The Canes are ranked No. 13 and Aggies are No. 24.
Van Dyke said, “We’re really excited as a team to get to College Station. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity vs. a great team. They have great players, great defense, high recruits, great players, it’s going to be a challenge... It’s just a good feeling going into another team’s stadium and making plays. The crowd quiet. At the end of the day, all the work you put in practice you’re the ones feeling it, you’re ones getting excited after scoring a touchdown at an away stadium.”
Van Dyke had high praise for the Aggies defense.
Van Dyke wasn’t pleased with his performance on Saturday against Southern Miss.
The quarterback said, “There’s two options you can have. You can either forget about what happened or fix the mistakes. Obviously, I have to fix the mistakes, watch the film, see what I can do better fundamentally, and then get on the field and fix them. I’m a guy who is always going to be competitive and try to be better than I was the week before no matter how the performance was. Obviously, I have to be better this week.”
Van Dyke said that improvement starts in practice.
