BSO detectives search for missing woman, 71, last seen in Deerfield Beach

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help in locating a 71-year-old woman who they say was reported missing Monday.

According to BSO, Marie Jean-Marie was last seen around 2:30 a.m. near the 1300 block of Southwest 11th Avenue in Deerfield Beach.

Authorities said she is about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black and white turtleneck shirt and gray pants, according to detectives.

According to her family, Jean-Marie speaks predominantly Creole and has medical conditions requiring medication.
