FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Authorities were seen at a home in Broward County on Friday afternoon following reports of a shooting.
The home is located along Northwest 29th Terrace just north of Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.
According to police, deputies responded to reports of a drive-by shooting and arrived to find two woman who were struck by gunfire.
They were both rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Neighbors told Local 10 News’ Christian De La Rosa that they heard multiple gunshots.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was located a short time later on the Florida Turnpike.
After a brief pursuit, deputies said the subjects inside the vehicle were detained for questioning.
