Spain travel warning for people visiting popular islands
The islands are a top choice for many UK holidaymakers
People planning to travel to a number of popular Spanish islands this summer have been hit with a warning.
Millions of people visit Spain from the UK each year, and the next few weeks are set to be incredibly busy for international travel. Many tourists visit the Balearic islands.
These are Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. And people travelling to them may be hit with Spain's highest accommodation prices.

The Mallorca Daily Bulletin reports the average price of hotels in the Balearics this summer is 276 Euros per night, with hotels charging up to 19% more than they did last year. The Spanish publication adds that the price of "lower category hotels" has risen by 25% more than those of higher category hotels.
Barcelona comes in second place, with rooms at more than 200 Euros per night, followed by Malaga and Alicante.
The report comes after Mallorca restaurant bosses said "alarm bells" were ringing with a huge drop in customers. The president of Majorca CAEB restaurant association, Alfonso Robledo, said last month: "Before there was no difference between Mondays and Saturdays.
"We were always full because people who are on holiday don’t take into account whether it is a working day or a public holiday. This year, however, customers are leaving their dinners or lunches for the weekends.
"We don’t understand what is happening because there are more and more tourists".
