Driver arrested after Queens Drive crash

The driver of a skip loader was arrested following a crash on a main road.
Merseyside Police were called to Queens Drive in West Derby at around 11.15am today, Monday, July 8. It followed a report of a crash involving a Citroen, a Kia and an Iveco skip loader.
The driver of the skip loader, a 46-year-old man from Liverpool, has been arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drink or drugs. He is currently in custody

Three women in the other vehicles suffered slight injuries, police said. Queens Drive westbound was partially closed following the incident and several bus diversions were also in place.
Queens Drive has since reopened and the vehicles were recovered from the scene.
