About us

I believe in the transformational and communicational power of spaces. They can create new realities, transform people's lives and societies, and as designers, we have the tremendous responsibility to create spaces that shape the future we envision. Every project comes with the opportunity to create a narrative that can influence many, and convey values through materials, shapes, colors, lighting, and textures. With over 15 years of experience as an architect, 9+ years as a specialist in Visuals and Branding, and more recently in Neuroscience applied to Architectural Design, Marketing Strategy, and Copywriting, I have been honored with awards in my home country and internationally. My work has been published in the most important media of the industry, and I have been involved in more than 300 projects. Through this path, I have discovered my passion for impacting many lives, and helping others achieve their goals. My expertise in Neuroscience applied to Architectural Design allows me to design experiences that resonate with people on a subconscious level, contributing to successful project outcomes. This is a page to share this knowledge, through consulting on Real Estate projects, and education to our professional community. If you're interested in learning more about my work or how I can help, please feel free to reach out.

  • Have you ever felt that the world of neuroarchitecture is shrouded in a veil of complex terms and difficult-to-understand explanations? I know what it's like to feel this way. For a long time, I found myself navigating a sea of information that was not only in English but also in complex terms, trying to understand how to design spaces that positively impact our lives, and the truth is that it still happens to me. It was then that I realized that if I wanted more people to inhabit spaces that provide them with well-being, I would have to make an effort to make it somewhat easy to understand and apply so that this information could reach architects and designers with whom I shared this sensitivity, so we could multiply our message together. For that reason, I compiled and packaged in simple language a product that is accessible and at the same time a very useful tool so that this knowledge can be applied by more professionals. Thus the idea of creating something special was born: our #neuroarchitecture Starter Kit. (Documents are in Spanish)

  • "Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with so much to do, I want to design for the well-being of others, but I feel that I am not taking care of my own" This is something that I have thought about several times and definitely in the last year I have sought to take charge of This, if this is also your case, and you have felt overwhelmed by the work dynamics in the industry, well, you are not alone! Learning about designing for well-being has also led me to seek resources on how to manage my time for my well-being. That is why, along with the bibliography that I have compiled to better understand Neuroscience applied to Architecture, I have also included the books that have allowed me to understand how to run a creative design business to ensure the well-being of everyone, for the people we design and also for ourselves as professionals. This Suggested Bibliography is part of the Starter’s KIT for Architects and Designers who want to learn how to design with Neuroarchitecture. This package includes, along with the bibliography, the Initial Guide to Neuroarchitecture and Tactics and Techniques for Designing with Neuroarchitecture. • How do you design healthy spaces? Creating architectural projects goes beyond making plans, choosing colors, and functional decorative elements. If you are interested in moving forward and creating environments that prioritize the mental and emotional well-being of individuals, here is how I put it into practice. One tool has been to incorporate Biophilic Design into my projects: Biophilia is the innate connection that human beings have with nature, which can generate a positive response in our body and mind. This can be achieved by incorporating a wide variety of elements, not only plants but also textures, and lighting forms, allowing airflow, organic shapes, and patterns, designing furniture with high backs, and incorporating sounds, among others. In the design of healthy spaces, natural elements can be incorporated in different ways, for example, using natural materials such as wood or stone, including vegetation and water. Another element that can be incorporated is Fractals: geometric patterns that repeat at different scales and are commonly found in nature, such as in tree branches, leaf patterns, and cloud shapes, among others. The goal is to create spaces that connect the user with nature and generate a sense of well-being. If you want to learn about this and more tools to enhance your projects, I've put together a STARTERS' KIT with the basic tools to start designing with Neuroarchitecture. *All documents included in the STARTERS’ KIT are in Spanish And here is the link to get yours: https://buff.ly/4dhvR9q

  • EMPATHY and ARCHITECTURE? Today I want to share the book that helped me understand the importance of EMPATHY in ARCHITECTURE 👇 Few texts have moved me in the way Sarah Robinson did in her section, where she describes the role of the skin in the transition that takes us from the womb to understanding the external world as adult humans. I was going through a challenging process as I began to understand my maternity, the importance of skin-to-skin contact, empathy as a guide, and encountering this book generated a whirlwind of emotions within me. In "Architecture and Empathy," by Juhani Pallasmaa, Harry Mallgrave, Sarah Robinson, and Vittorio Gallese, empathy, understood as the ability to understand and share the feelings of others, becomes a central element in the discussion, exploring how architecture can foster greater understanding and connection between people. This piece explores in a very fine and meaningful way how empathy is experienced through direct human interactions, while also being influenced by how we interact with the built environment, a true gem. This Suggested Bibliography is part of the Starter KIT for Architects and Designers who wish to learn to design with Neuroarchitecture. This package includes, in addition to the bibliography, the Initial Guide to Neuroarchitecture and Design Guidelines with #Neuroarchitecture. ***All documents are written in Spanish. • 3 STEPS I USE to design with neuroarchitecture: 1- Understanding users' needs and defining the Essence of the space: Asking the necessary questions to comprehend what we want to evoke defines the essence, and it should begin with a deep understanding of the needs of the people who will inhabit it. Involving them in the process and deciding together what essence or essences we will seek to convey in this place, searching for references in terms of sensations of what we want to communicate, then analyzing and understanding which elements of that reference evoke those emotions and translating them into formal elements. 2- Analyzing Potential Risk Factors: The main ones are outlined in Chapter 5. Analyzing the project from this perspective allows us to identify the possible challenges that may arise in the space to achieve the essence we are aiming for, and how we can address them in advance. 3- Seeking scientific support: After defining the intangible intentions of the project through the definition of essences and the analysis of risk factors (What could undermine the essences, or go wrong in our attempt to achieve them?), we convert that into the first clues of the design and then seek scientific information to support our proposal further. If you want to learn the complete process, click the link below to get the STARTER’S KIT I've put together with the Initial Guide for Designing with Neuroarchitecture + Design guidelines and the Recommended Bibliography to start implementing this tool in your projects. ***All documents are in Spanish. • When our brain is making any decision it evaluates 3 things: 1- How is this helping me reduce fear? 2- How is this providing pleasure? 3- How am I saving energy with this? This is a triangle of decision-making. Entering a space is a decision, so we need to take into consideration these 3 aspects to provide an experience that the people want to enter. How can we help reduce fear through the space? Have you ever thought about it when working on a project? This is an extract of a conference we did about how we can impact the Return of the Investment in Real Estate development, by humanizing design Real Estate Developers at the Urban Ovation Platform in November 2023. How do you think we can promote these feelings when designing a space?
