About us
Paid Leave Oregon is a new program that allows individuals to take paid time off for many of life’s most important moments that impact our families, our health and safety. Whether for Family, Medical or Safety Leave, we believe everyone should be able to care for themselves and those they love and still have peace of mind. Paid Leave Oregon also makes sure employers have the support they need to give their employees time off, and at the same time keep their businesses healthy and thriving. Who’s eligible? Whether full-time, part-time or a seasonal employee, most people working in Oregon are eligible for paid time off. What benefits does Paid Leave Oregon offer? ● 12 weeks off from work in a year. In some pregnancy-related situations, you may be able to take up to two more weeks for a total of 14 weeks. ● While on leave, Paid Leave Oregon pays you a percent of your wages. The amount depends on how much you earn. ● Job protection if you’ve been with your employer for more than 90 days.
