Congratulations to our clients on the refinance of Encanto Cactus Park! This property was built, and is currently operated, as a rental community (BTR). However, this transaction was unique in that the loan/line of credit was structured to allow the borrower to convert the property to For Sale. Given the current market conditions in for sale housing and cap rate expansion, over the last few years, on the rental side we believe other borrower's are going to look to adjust their business plan to the For Sale the model, if they are able to.
