What a day! 🎉 Appfire Town and a couple of our team members came together to support PluSport Day, Switzerland's largest inclusive sports event! From setting up facilities to ensuring everything was ready for the participants and their families to directly supporting the athletes in athletics, curling, swimming, and basketball. ♥️ Thank you to everyone who was part of this experience. #PluSportDay #inclusion

With the support of Appfire Town, our Ukrainian and Polish team members have come together to assemble and send 150 first-aid kits to frontline towns in Ukraine! 🚑 📦 Each of these first aid kits includes a list of first aid items. Thanks to our team members, Vladyslav Puhach, Kateryna Zavhorodnia, Iryna Ihnatiuk 🇺🇦 and Anna Hryhoruk, for starting this initiative.

Our amazing team members from Sofia, Bulgaria took to Lake Dushantsi for their annual clean-up mission, supported by #AppfireTown! 🚤🌊 “We kayaked across the lake, picking up trash and debris from the shores while enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views. A huge thanks to Appfire Town for funding the kayaks, work gloves, bags, and lunch for our volunteers.” – 👏❤️ Velina Karnalova, Senior Software Engineer at Appfire. Shoutout to everyone who joined and to those who tried kayaking for the first time. 💪🌟

👏 Shout out to our Tech Comms team members who recently volunteered at a pop-up market organized by The Just One Project during their time in Las Vegas! The Just One Project provides essential groceries and household items to families and individuals facing food insecurity. 🙋🏼 Christie Gera, Manager of Technical Writing, shared her experience: “I handed out bread to the shoppers while Appfire team members were part of the 'Pink Vest Crew,' a dedicated group of volunteers who assisted visitors in carrying their items to their cars. This was especially critical, as it was incredibly hot (110°F), and many shoppers were elderly. They made sure every visitor felt supported and cared for. 🥰 Thanks to #AppfireTown for helping us organize this project, providing us with shirts to wear during the event, and always supporting fireflies with activities like this!”

Our internal hackathon, Ignite, just wrapped! 51 teams across departments and locations participated, sparking creativity and tackling challenges in categories like Innovation and Exploration and AI integration. Our Platform team recently met in sunny Larnaca, Cyprus! The team had productive meetings, delicious dinners, and even a photobomb by a local cat 🐱😅 (swipe to the fourth picture!)
