We were excited to kick off our summer conference season with the NALEO Educational Fund at their 41st Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada last week! More than 7,000 Latino elected officials were invited to network and participate in the invigorating programming sessions covering a wide array of Latino issues. As national media partners, Comcast and NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises hosted "The Latino Vote 2024" plenary, featuring Chuck Rocha, Founder of Solidarity Strategies, and Mike Madrid, Principal of GrassrootsLab, with Noticias Telemundo Communications anchor Nicole Suarez as moderator. As the second-largest voting group with over 36 million eligible voters, Latinos will play a decisive role in this year's presidential elections, a fact that makes these conversations more important than ever. Congratulations to our #TelemundoAcademy graduates for an amazing semester! This has been our largest cohort in the program's 6-year history, with 200 participants from 17 institutions across the country! We are incredibly proud of our students for all their hard work and commitment to journalism and media. This semester, students had a chance to learn from executives and talented members of our NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises including: Joaquin Duro, Leticia Herrera, Diana Martí, Alfonso Gutiérrez, and Octavio Pulido through guest lectures and interactive panels. We look forward to welcoming our next cohort of students next Fall! 🙌 Last week marked the culmination of the Spring semester of the Telemundo Academy program, where students delivered presentations on Diversity and Sports to our panel of Telemundo Leaders who have mentored them throughout the term.    The program concluded with a special session featuring Julio Vaqueiro Telemundo who imparted career insights and shared his expertise in journalism. We are immensely thankful to Diana Martí, Victoria C. De Armas, Wally Rodriguez, Natalia Molina, and Julio Vaqueiro for their invaluable support and guidance during this semester.   #TelemundoAcademy
