??Are you in your FLOW??

Happy Monday! Another work week is upon us to make our mark on it, and I would like to ask you a very important question and hopefully it makes since to you. When was the last time you were in the “FLOW” state or “ZONE” ? YOU KNOW: The place where everything slows down, and you were “DOING” everything with the highest level of self-assurance, walking the finest line of between CONFIDENCE and ARROGANCE…LOL! Where you had the most ZEAL and attacked with unrivaled tenacity. I am an ex-Athlete, so excuse me, but it was called being a DOG. YOU KNOW: having a little bit of GRRR about yourself!!

In sports we call it in the “ZONE” and in the professional world we call it in your “FLOW”. This is the place where we have the most freedom - the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. NO FEAR! The greatest chance of failure, but even GREATER chance of SUCCESS! In baseball they call it “Swinging Away”! So in saying that, I ask again, when was the last time you were in this place of SUCCESS and GROWTH?? Was it yesterday? A week ago? A month ago? A year ago? Or was it a decade or even longer ago?

My point is that we all know this PLACE or state of mind, but do you know how to get back there? Or even more so, STAY 

THERE? Are you in a work environment that fosters being in this PLACE or is working on getting to this PLACE. Some top performer know how to get here, but I ask them this question, WHO are you bringing with you?

As a positive influencer it’s your duty to assist in creating this environment. We should be uplifting, mentoring and encouraging those around us to find their “FLOW” or “ZONE”. I believe that any leader on any scale or influencer should be ready and willing to do this for each and every member on their team. By understanding this, you will earn their influence. By earning the influence of those around you, you will surely create a better opportunity for yourself and your team to get into their “FLOW” or “ZONE” and become a more effective and efficient employee and producer.
