Why Transfinder Being a Best Place to Work is Important

Tomorrow, two full CDTA trolleys will transport Transfinder employees to Rivers Casino & Resort for a very special event.

That event is the Albany Business Review’s Best Places to Work celebration. Transfinder is a proud recipient of that coveted award that is based solely on employees’ responses to survey questions about how they feel about their jobs and this company.

And I wasn’t permitted to take the survey.

We are bringing the entire local staff to the event and are filling eight tables. Is that a record?

This is the second time Transfinder received this award. The first time was in 2013, when we moved out of our old offices off Erie Boulevard into a then brand-new office on State Street in Schenectady.

But between those years, we did not earn this designation either because the survey results were less positive or we simply decided not to even seek the award.

The award this year is especially meaningful to me because I believe it is the result of a team effort and some very specific changes we implemented to make Transfinder truly one of the Best Places to Work in New York’s Capital Region,
