The Basics

CES 2024 is January 9-12, with the majority of the action taking place Tuesday-late Thursday. For those who have gone for years, the late dates provide a nice breather week beforehand. If you are a first-time attendee, don't fret. As long as you are staying in the Aria or one of the adjacent hotels, you will be close enough to everything you need to get to each day and, even if you don't "make" the hottest dinner or late-night party guest lists, you'd invariably see those you are hoping to see quite a bit during the visit. Trending Themes 

This year’s trending themes take discussions that peaked at the end of last year to the next leg and well into the future, refocusing us all on what's on tap across innovation, AI,  technology, consumer experiences (CX), media, advertising, influence, governance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ESG, DEI&B and privacy.

Does it make sense to pay the extra costs to attend the pricier sub-events? In some cases like Digital Hollywood and Variety, if your focus is on Sports and/or Media and Entertainment players, the ROI will be strong. Likewise for those seeking to hear from and meet with top women business leaders across sectors. No one features these leaders better than Shelley Zalis and her incredible team at Female Quotient - which has no pay gate anyway! In other cases, the speakers seem to be on multiple stages. So, you may not need to trek out of your way or overinvest to hear from them. 

Who's Partying, Performing or Pluming Their Celebrity Feathers?

While some of us still tuck in our toes by 10pm, what would CES be without lavish, over-the-top parties and musical performances the city is known for as well as CES’ infamous celebrity appearances?
