Welcome to the August newsletter! Here you'll find all the latest news from Octopod.

TL;DR

• Octopod:Play Luna (V2.2) is out (session name edition, skip tutorial...).
• Preparing V2.3 of Octopod:Play for IAAPA Europe in Vienna.

Luna, the latest version of Octopod:Play is out !

A new version of Octopod:Play, is now available ! This 2.2 version called Luna aims to improve the management of your gaming sessions!

Features :

• Skip the tutorial in one click:On compatible games, all the players in the session will be able to skip the tutorial in one click.
• Session renaming:To help organise events such as team building, you can now customise session names.

Bugs fixes & improvements :

• Deselection of the spectator machine
• Improved layout in the options page

If you haven't updated your launcher yet, all you have to do is connect to Octopod:Play and click on the yellow update banner to see this new version deployed.

Octopod:Play 2.3 is on the way !

Our development team is working hard to release the next 2.3 version of Octopod:Play. It will include a key feature for HTC Vive Focus 3 owners, namely Space Manager compatibility with HTC's latest LBE headset. 

What is the Space Manager?

The Space Manager is a feature that lets you manage the virtual spaces in which you play. When you create a game on Octopod:Play, all you have to do is select the desired space, and it will be modified directly for all players, without any tedious action.

A beta-test session will be organised in the next few weeks. If you would like to take part in one of these to get a preview of the space manager, you can register by sending us an email at hello@octopodvr.com

Register for free to test the Octo:Gone Vive Focus 3 at IAAPA Expo in Austria

For the first time, Octopod VR will be exhibiting at IAAPA Expo, the famous international trade fair for leisure and entertainment professionals in Vienna, Austria, from 26 to 28 September! We will be presenting the Octo:Gone streaming Wi-Fi HTC Vive Focus 3 and hope to meet you for a demo.
