We’re delighted to welcome a new agency to the wider We Are Social network, as Hello US is now officially launched! We’ve also been busy making work for clients like Contiki and UNIQLO , and sharing our thoughts on production values in today’s world of phone-shot content. Hello launches in the US, led by Valerie Moizel

Exciting news for our US expansion, as We Are Social US has partnered with Valerie Moizel , co-founder and CEO of The Woo , to form Hello, in the US. It’s a separate boutique agency with the agility of a startup, and Valerie will lead the agency as president and chief creative officer. Hello first launched in Italy in 2019, where it now has a team of 80 people, and we’re excited to see the agency spreading its wings globally.

Catch them if you can! Our team in Japan and We Are Social Studios, have worked with UNIQLO to release a series of fun and mischievous Instagram videos aimed at sparking conversation about its AIRism Ultra Seamless Boxer Briefs. The global '#unfelt sensations’ campaign amplifies the light, stretchy, perfect-fit product benefits of the AIRism collection through a series of social videos.

The rise of Microfeminism plays out on TikTok

In a sociopolitical landscape where Gen Z boys are drifting towards the right, women and girls are feeling more of a need to advocate for equality themselves. From putting the male CEO into CC, to assuming your doctor will be a woman, or refusing to move on the sidewalk for a man – these small but contentious acts are being defined as ‘microfeminism’ on TikTok. This mirrors the rise of girl trends, such as #girldinner, #girlmath and girl aesthetics, which aim to reclaim identity and challenge norms without infringing on male dominant spaces.

Redefining travel experiences with Contiki 

Our team in Sydney worked with Contiki to take a group of 17 influencers from the US and Australia on an epic trip through Portugal and Spain. But in a category awash with the same tired travel content, Contiki sought to redefine the travel experience by doing the unthinkable; challenging these travel influencers to completely unplug from social media for the entirety of the trip.
