Using AI to improve human services and public health

In response to a Request for Information from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families, Mathematica has provided recommendations on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance operations.

“The pace of AI development and deployment is rapid, and without rigorous equity, governance, privacy, and security controls, as well as research and evidence on the impacts of AI, these advances could result in more harm than good,” wrote Mathematica.
