UCC Industry Survey: Understanding Industry Needs

Industry Partners: We would very much appreciate it if you could complete this Industry Survey

University College Cork is actively looking to engage with industry to gather your views and understand the needs of your industry and the skills gaps that exist currently, together with the identification of new skills for the future, especially in the next 2-5 years. This research will inform future initiatives within the University to support you in producing the graduates you will need for your talent pipeline. As you may be aware, the iEd Hub (a collaboration between UCC and MTU iEd Hub) has been undertaking research with a view to understanding skills gaps in current curricula together with the needs of industry now and into the future.

In addition, our Career Services have also been working with a company called Abodoo who have been assisting us with this research.

Your views are critical to us for this piece of research. In fact, the outcomes will strengthen our work and will enable us to better partner with you in the future in ensuring you get the best students and graduates. We would very much appreciate it if you could complete this Industry Survey.

To strengthen the result of the research, we would greatly appreciate if you could also share it amongst your colleagues to ensure we have a strong representative view across the sector.

This survey is completely anonymous and GDPR compliant. It will require no company or personal information and it would take around 6 minutes to complete.

The deadline for the completion of the survey is March 11th and we are happy to share the final results with you. As a thank you, we will work closely with you to ensure your corporate brand is highly recognised amongst students in University College Cork.
