The true Grit

On this birthday I have completed 5 years of the entrepreneurial journey. There has been a lot of ups and downs and I have decided to share them here onwards.  Not only for the young entrepreneurs but also the established ones because they were also at this stage when they started. Well, 5 years is a substantial milestone to learn at least what not to do. So, today I am gonna share about “true grit”.

When you embark on this journey your grit is the only real friend that keeps you moving forward and makes you change things. Your grit makes you do impossible tasks and keeps you focused on the goal. In nature, you will see enormous examples of success because of true grit. It’s one of the founding stones of nature. When a Cheetah hunts, it’s his grit for survival and when the pray runs away it’s the prey’s grit for survival. The interesting fact is Cheetah is successful in only 10% of his efforts whereas the Prey in 90%, yet the predator prevails. So, no matter what are the chances of success you still attempt, with equal passion and energy, that’s the beauty of it. Entrepreneurship demands the same amount of grit, whether you are in the role of prey or predator. You usually want to be the percentage where you are successful all the time. No matter if you are unsuccessful for 90% of the time but you wait for that 10% which keeps you motivated to move forward. It’s always better than 90% success where the 10% risk chance where your life is at stake as the prey.

So true grit is where you plan yourself, take chances, and keep moving learning from failures.
