Social Distancing? Hmmm... No Thanks

Social Distancing? Hmmm... No Thanks

This is going to be short and sweet!

We keep hearing "Social Distancing" in the media, at our jobs, in our homes. What!!?? Social Distancing? No.

Our need for social interaction is an absolute priority in a time like this. We must remain connected, support one another, pray for each other and gather in any way we can to keep our society, tribes, families strong.

What we should be talking about is PHYSICAL DISTANCING!

It is not social distancing that will help stop this virus in its tracks; it is physical distancing. Stay away from public places. Work from home if you can. Good hygiene and wear masks. These are actions of physical distancing.

We should, in counter to physical distancing, increase our societal interactions though. Facetime friends and family to share some coffee or, heck, a beer. Have dinner with distant relatives. Hang out and play games on video conference with friends and colleagues. Do what you can to engage.

Here it is, DO NOT DISTANCE YOURSELF FROM SOCIETY!

We have way too much technology for that.

Be safe. Be clean. Be physically distanced. But for goodness gracious, give me or someone a call, a facetime or a calendar invite to hang out somehow on the web.

These are trying times folks. We should be supportive and united in every way possible. God bless you all and God bless America.
