No ship insurance for inadvertent smugglers - The "B Atlantic"
The Court of Appeal has held that ship owners' insurance cover was excluded where the ship was confiscated after cocaine was found strapped beneath the hull unknown to the owners or crew: Atlasnavios-Navegacao lDA v Navigators Insurance Company Limited & Ors (The "B Atlantic") [2016] FICR 22; [2016] EWCA Civ 808.
