SBA Administrator Travels to North Dakota for Small Business Boom Tour

Administrator Guzman was Joined by Senator Hoeven for Community Roundtables, Local Small Business Visits

On Tuesday, July 2, Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the voice in President Biden’s Cabinet for America’s more than 33 million small businesses, traveled to Fargo, North Dakota, for the next stop on her nationwide Small Business Boom tour.

In the morning, Administrator Guzman visited Grand Farm, where she toured the innovation campus and met with Grand Farm leaders. Administrator Guzman was then joined by Senator John Hoeven, former Senator Heidi Heitkamp, and other North Dakota business leaders for roundtables on Agriculture and Innovation Roundtable and Tribal and Native Business Ownership.

In the afternoon, Administrator Guzman, joined by Senator Hoeven, continued her nationwide Small Business Boom Tour with stops at several local small businesses housed within Brewhalla, a local event center, market, and hotel. Following her engagements with these small businesses, Administrator Guzman traveled to Red E Engineering, a nearby manufacturing company, where she highlighted President Biden’s commitment to businesses that buy, make, and sell their products in America.

Under the Biden-Harris Administration, the nation is experiencing a Small Business Boom with more than 18 million new business applications nationwide – including 28,000 in North Dakota alone.
