I remember.
It was a chat I was having with an online friend years ago who created fun travel videos that documented his global adventures.
When I gave him ideas to grow and monetize his brand, he automatically came up with reasons why it couldn't be done.
Eventually, his negative mind would get him nowhere.
His content never took off.
It's just amazing how quickly some people talk themselves out of potentially great opportunities.
They'll say things like...
It's not realistic.
I'm too old or young.
I don't have the time.
I don't have the money.
I don't have experience.
I'm a nobody.
You get the idea.
If I thought like that, I would have never become a Canadian national television sports reporter/voiceover guy, traditionally published author, podcast host, an entertainment writer or interviewed or met...

You'd be surprised how the right attitude coupled with passion, a strong work ethic and determination to succeed will lead you to your dream career and/or business goals.
I apologize if I'm stating the obvious.
Honestly, I don't think I am because there are millions of people psyching themselves out daily.
It's unfortunate.
The thing is that doesn't have to be YOU.
Yes, I'm an optimist at heart and proud of it.
It has served me well and will continue to do so as I embark on an exciting new chapter in my career/entrepreneurial life.
But, in regards to helping you have a better attitude, try the following...
- Be kinder to people and yourself
- Tell your ego to take a break and help others
- Think of possibilities instead of roadblocks
- Be more positive and grateful for the cool things in your life
If you can develop a great attitude, your existence on this Earth will be more enjoyable.
But, it all starts with you.
