Reflecting on Montreat College's Influence on My Family and Career.

Nobody from Montreat College approached me or asked me to share the following:

As Montreat College alumni, my wife and I have cherished the unique Christian-centered education that's shaped our approach to life and our careers. Now, in our 50s, watching our own children walk the graduation stage we once did brings immense gratitude.

In our 20s, the decision to transfer to @MontreatCollege was pivotal. Evenings spent in class from 6 to 10 PM didn't just earn us our degrees; they instilled in us the value of Christ-like leadership in business. This isn't just about religion; it's about universal values of integrity and servant-leadership that resonate, no matter your faith.

Years later, as a working adult, returning to Montreat for my Master's wasn't just an academic pursuit; it was a reaffirmation of servant leadership principles in action. Meanwhile, my incredible wife managed her Master's (at a different university) studies alongside homeschooling our kids—a true testament to dedication.

Fast forward, and both our son and daughter are carving their paths at Montreat. Our son will soon be a two-time Montreat grad, and our daughter is quickly becoming a Trailblazer, on the cusp of graduating Montreat with an impressive set of credentials at just 20.

To the generous benefactors and contributors of Montreat College, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your support fuels a mission that resonates deeply within families like ours.

To those considering Montreat for their higher education—take it from a family whose roots have grown deep in this institution—here, education extends beyond the classroom. It's about preparing for life with a foundation that values service, leadership, and impact.
