Reflect on your capacity with this strategy (7/31)

“I’m too busy” - the popular excuse as to why we aren’t doing something. But are we actually too busy? Or are we misallocating our time. This week’s exercise will identify whether you’re truly at capacity or if you need to reallocate how you spend your time.

Personal Growth Tip

  • Do you ever take on too much or wonder if you have capacity for a new opportunity?
  • Sit down and take note of how you spend your time this week
  • Specify the number of hours you allocate to each bucket (work, sleep, social, etc.)
  • This will tell you exactly where you’re spending your time
  • Hopefully the insights help you reallocate your time or add/drop activities

FAQ: How can I generate ideas for LinkedIn posts?

  • Generating LinkedIn post ideas doesn’t have to be hard
  • Think of 5 topics you want to be associated with (these are your topic pillars)
  • Within each pillar, jot down a learning, challenge you’ve overcome, tip, and something you wish you knew earlier
  • Now you’ve got 20 LinkedIn post ideas for the month
  • Turn each idea into a story, add a stat if possible, and now you have your posts
  • Repeat this each month to share your knowledge with your network
