Read this before hiring a web developer

Hiring a web developer, we all have expectations for him to create the best website with an incredible design. But, sometimes things go south, and it takes countless clarifications what exactly do you want. To make things easier for you and web developer consider crafting a simple wireframe of your future website. Nothing complicated, just general outline of the page, some boxes here and there, navigation many at the top etc. In that way, web developer will better understand what you mean and will be able to start working on your website quicker and there would be fewer miscommunications. Its always better to show it once than say it 100 times.

In case you start thinking “Why do I have to design my website myself if I am hiring a web developer?”, let me repeat - it should be a simple sketch you can do in a couple of minutes. It even can be the example of an already existing website (be careful with this – avoid plagiarism). Also, keep in mind that web developer will definitely help you with the design, give some advice and suggestions.

So, crafting a wireframe is the first step that will show the web developer general vision of the website and will save you a lot of time and headache.
