A personal statement about the HB2 in North Carolina

Every year, the global community of Certified B Corporation organizes the Global Champions Retreat with the facilitation of B Lab. North Carolina was selected to host the 2016's edition and the current discussion is how the movement should face the House Bill 2 (HB2) that has been just passed in the state. The anti-LGBT law strips people from their rights and that is a major step backwards. A huge threat to all society.

B Corporations do not stand AGAINST anything. This global community is widely known for standing FOR something. I truly believe that change is inclusive. Like a trojan horse, we have changed the way how people see businesses. We can change how people see the nature and how people see...people.

I personally hope we can - not only maintain the retreat in North Carolina - but also create a powerful and unique experience to those involved in this controversial policy. 

We should support a new consciousness and a way to make it is by embracing this reality. My personal support to this violent decision in the US. ‪#‎BtheChange‬ ‪#‎HB2‬ ‪#‎NorthCarolina‬
