People Matter... and Here's Why

People Matter... and Here's Why

Nobody is a part of your life by mistake!

Everybody that enters our lives can teach us something... as long as we are looking for the lesson.

I honestly believe that everything in our lives happens FOR us and not TO us and that also extends to the people that enter and exit our lives. Nobody is in your life by mistake. Nobody enters your life without a purpose.

Some people are going to teach you how special, cherished and gifted you are. Others are going to teach you how you should NEVER be treated. Both are lessons you need to learn in life.

Every human being has value. No person is better or worse than another person. WE ARE ALL JUST DIFFERENT! Every persons' unique baggage, talents, fears, accomplishments, and paths are all experiences we can learn from.

To really grow and become the next best version of yourself, you must be open to learning from everybody... no matter their socio-economic status or their profession.. and no matter HOW they treat you!

Sometimes the people who treat you the worst, teach you the best lessons. Never forget that! Whether someone treats you the BEST or the WORST ever (and need to leave your life), both of them will teach you lessons that will improve your life and help you become the highest and best version of yourself.

God choose each of these people for a different purpose in your life. Be open to the lesson. Be open to learning. Be open to change. Nothing happens by coincidence. Learn the right lessons from each person. People are our best teachers, and experiences is our best education.

Think about the best people in your life and the worst people in your life. What lessons have you learned from them? Drop your lessons in the comments and tag a friend that needs to hear this message! #MAXOUT

I pray something similar to this every night with my girls.  But I now know how to extend that prayer. That is for us to be able to learn from those that the Lord consistently brings into our lives. It is not always about pouring into others, but how are others pouring into you. Great article, thank you. #presson #maxout

This is so true. At the height of my frustrations, disappointments and pain comes the best lessons I learned about myself and how I can ve better. I am grateful for those who say good things about me and I am also grateful about the bad thinga said about me because I became better...love being a student of life even though most of the times it is riddled with pain and struggle. Thank you Ed Mylett. See you Maxout 2.0

Ed thank you for this post. It has had an impact on me. People and things happening for us not to us is a definite perception shift. I like the position because it takes away the victimology mindset and gives us power over events and those who have done us harm. Thank you. #maxout

I just passed by one of your other posts and love this message! It reminds me so much of the spiritual book I read when I was losing my FIL, Many Lives Many masters. How we handle these obstacles, tragedies and hurdles in our lives truly defines who we become and ultimately those who are with us along the way always teach us something. Keep preaching, you have a new follower! 🙋🏼♀️
