Parking Management Company Acquires ParkPoolr

National parking services provider enters 21 new markets and adds additional technology options

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 17, 2023) – Parking Management Company (PMC), a national parking services provider, has acquired ParkPoolr, a technology-based company that manages booking and payment for parking at commercial properties. The acquisition enables PMC to expand into 21 new markets and incorporate ParkPoolr’s technology into their current tech suite, designed to streamline and improve the parking process. PMC currently offers parking management and valet services for commercial and hospitality lots, including event venues, health care facilities, garages, casinos, and retail and restaurant locations.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jackson Lefebvre and the ParkPoolr team to the PMC family. Their rapid expansion as a relative newcomer to the industry was remarkable and a testament to their exceptional services and technology,” said Matt Cahill, PMC president. “This will serve as the blueprint for future acquisitive growth.”

PMC will add ParkPoolr’s proprietary payment processing and lot management technology to PMC’s existing suite of technology solutions for parking lot owners and commercial properties. Their offerings include:

  • PMC Pay, which allows users to pay for parking quickly and easily from their mobile devices. The service aims to maximize convenience and improve the overall parking experience for both parkers and lot owners.
  • PMC Search, which maximizes navigation and SEO services to guide parkers to the nearest PMC-owned lot.
  • PMC Conversion, which captures missed revenue before it becomes lost revenue by focusing on the conversion of the unpaid parker without immediately issuing citations and fees.

“ParkPoolr represents a significant momentum addition to PMC’s client portfolio as we continue our national self-parking growth fueled by technology,” said Tim Bewley, chief investment officer for PMC. “Jackson and the ParkPoolr team immediately fit in with our growth and client-focused culture.”

PMC will now manage an additional 61 commercial lots in 21 new markets across the country, including key cities like San Francisco, Chicago, Minneapolis and Cincinnati, among others.

“PMC is known for their unparalleled level of service and have established themselves as experts revolutionizing the parking process,” said Jackson Lefebvre, founder and owner of ParkPoolr. “Our cultures and companies are a perfect fit, and I’m excited for PMC to take our technology and processes to the next level.”
