Out-Of-Home (OOH) advertising is one of the most trusted, memorable and effective way to get any business noticed. At its first side OOH advertising also known as Outdoor advertising is most common with billboards and banners. We all know them – at every corner on the streets and even on the highways. What we don’t know about this popular advertising form?

As every business global outdoor advertising worldwide is growing at a great pace and is expected to continue to witness stable growth in the advertising industry which is mainly due to increasing popularity of this segment in comparison with other segments of the advertising industry. The successful key for the development of this advertising industry is as usual the technology. We live in a digital world where reading of any information including also ads is less likely to happen. What we do is to watch the ads – and this is the way how we explore the information of them. Speaking of watching we have to note some of the most popular trends for OOH advertising in 2015.

More than ever, consumers are expecting to see creatively engaging OOH advertising and they are looking for far more than digital versions of static ads.

  1. One of every three billboards (doesn’t matter if stationary or moving) will be in digital.
  2. Real – time OOH – 2015 will be the year of fully automated real time outdoor advertising platforms. Of course the result we’re looking for is bigger effectiveness.

  4. “Location first” role – more companies will re-think the positon of their ads with integrating cross – channel campaigns.

There is also still a huge amount of untapped potential when it comes to properly utilizing mobile and OOH in tandem. OOH is proven and effective way to influence people on the path to purchase and mobile will very quickly become our bridge between poster and store – if we work with it in the correct way.
