10 years ago I broke down and reached a turning point in life. It was then that I learned about the great paradox of life: surrender to win. The Marine Corps doesn't teach that and I didn't receive the "instruction manual on life" growing up. But I broke down enough to breakthrough. This was when I founded FormFree and my new journey began.

October 2017 at MBA National I had the pleasure of sharing time with Don Miguel Ruiz and his son Miguel Jr. It was an experience of a lifetime.

Don Miguel is the author of one of the world's most popular books, "The Four Agreements". This book has touched millions of people all over the world. The book enlightens the reader to learn that the Agreements we make with ourselves predicate the way we behave and feel. By adopting and following these Four Agreements, we can live in bliss, joy, and love; and no longer worry about what other people think. Sounds crazy, right? But think about it, if we are impeccable with our word, don't take things personally, stop making assumptions and always do our best, then we've done all we can do and should feel great. After all, the only thing we can control is ourselves, we are powerless over everything else.

Don Miguel shared that we are all artists painting a masterpiece called life. It's perfect in every way, it's just a matter of how we tell the story to ourselves and what we believe.
