Our Approach to EA Matching Isn’t Left to Chance

Last time I talked about the importance of ensuring the right and best Executive Assistant hire. In case you hadn’t realized, I am passionate about the importance of matching personalities and values for the best long-term fit.

This really can’t be emphasized enough when it comes to EAs. I‘ve already covered the why, now let’s look at the how.

I thought I’d delve into the ways in which The Sterling Choice go about our expert matching process.

We use DRAKE P3 behaviour testing which looks at motivators, demotivators, communication style, character strengths, emotional intelligence, conscientiousness, ability to adapt, stress level, energy level, and limitations.

It’s an online behavioural assessment solution that removes any guesswork for predicting performance and behavioral compatibility.

We have the two parties take tests to see how well suited an Executive Assistant candidate is, for example, to a VP looking to recruit. This way better, faster matches can be made.

This approach increases retention and also helps interviewing parties to prepare relevant and bespoke interview questions. Not to mention reduced conflict and improved resolution, higher productivity and performance, and more cohesive teams once a candidate is in post.
