Obran Social CEOs: Leading with Purpose

Obran Social CEOs: Leading with Purpose

Obran has been on a mission to put the engines of business to work for humanity since our inception in 2019. We acquire and grow profitable and useful businesses that serve our members, customers and communities.

Since then, we’ve been fortunate to meet and collaborate with strong leaders as committed to growing the GDP of the solidarity economy as we are.

That's why we’re excited to announce our new leadership program: Obran Social CEO which supports the development of entrepreneurs and operators who prioritize social impact alongside business success.

The right fit

Social CEOs are revolutionaries who want to capture the power of business for mutual benefit and cooperation. They’re proven operators from diverse backgrounds and bring innovative and intelligent perspectives to collaboration and mutual benefit. We value the fresh perspectives that diverse sets of backgrounds bring - Anyone with interest in moving the solidarity economy forward should apply!

How does it work?

We start with a set of two-way interview - We want to understand each operator’s perspective, background and interests, but also to share Obran’s context and strategy.

If it feels like the right fit on both sides, Social CEOs work with Obran’s corporate development team to target, find and acquire small businesses for the Obran ecosystem.

From there, Social CEOs lead these businesses, expanding value for members, customers and communities and their own professional expertise.

Support for Social CEOs

We know that sometimes its a lonely to lead a business, especially one committed to mutual benefit However, Obran exists to make that easier and put the engines of business to work for humanity.
