Nothing But Love

It all starts with love ... The passion for creating a vision and then finding the right partners and team in the global community to build a vision. There is a soul to a company and to a community that transcends the business and becomes its own entity. Great founders like Steve Jobs legacy and spirit lives on through. all the people he touched building the dream of Apple . I was friends with Steve when he was working at Next computers. I remember asking him how his life had changed since he had children . He told me that it was like seeing a brand new color that one had never seen before .. a new shade of blue that your whole world looked different . That small conversation impacted me on the powerful changes love can bring into your universe. The whole culture and energy of a company is generated by a Founder and his core team and ethics and culture defined there. As investors we sometimes overlook this aspect of an investment to review but the care and trust of workers and customers is as important as technology and financial foundation. A prominent venture capitalist in the valley told me we never want to lose a founder once we invest and build a startup ; they are the soul of the company . This lesson also was important to my journey as I saw many investors not respect the founder and not keep or respect them once an investment was made.

I have always been about building relationships and powerful teams. I remember silently those who have not been transparent and proper in their behavior to me or my companies I nurture ; the truth always comes out. Money should be a tool not always the primary focus. This is why I believe in ESG being a focus as we build transformational business and the global investment ; the cost being shared by all.

We are in a global community and the future is beautiful in many ways in the Metaverse Web 3.0 era. There is a spirit in our tribe building this community and I want to practice the saying " Nothing but Love here." . CHERAY
